The 2010 Anaheim City Amateur Golf Championships are fast approaching. Please mark your calendars now so you will not miss this exciting and fun event. Entries will be limited - so sign up early!
There will be a Men's Championship Flight (max 5.9), a Senior Championship Flight (max 7.7) and one combined Men's & Senior Handicap Flight.
All flights in the 2010 Anaheim City Championship will play on Saturady and Sunday, April 24th and 25th. Final deadline to enter the events will be April 9, 2010. Reservations for the event will only be taken with full payment of the tournament fee and receipt of all player information.

PAYMENT:
Make all checks payable to Anaheim City Golf Championship and mail to the tournament office.
WITHDRAWAL/REFUND POLICY:
If you withdraw before the "pairings/starting times" are prepared (April 9, 2010), you may receive a refund, minus a $15 service charge. If you withdraw after that date, you may receive a refund, minus a $50 service charge if your spot can be filled from the waiting list. If you fail to show for your tee time, are disqualified or withdraw either day of the tournament, you will not receive a refund.
PAIRINGS AND TEE TIMES:
Will be sent out via email to all participants approximately 10 days before the tournament. Pairings and tee times will also be available over the Internet at http://www.playanaheimgolf.com.
CART POLICY:
A cart is included at Anaheim Hills Golf Course. Those who choose to ride at Dad Miller may rent a cart for $12.00. There is a maximum of 2 persons and two sets of clubs per cart. There can only be 2 carts per group.
CADDY/SPECTATOR POLICY:
There will be NO caddies or spectators allowed on either golf course this year.
DRESS CODE: Proper golf attire is required -- no short-shorts, tank tops, tee shirts or jeans.
CONDUCT: Unsportsmanlike conduct, i.e. swearing or club throwing, will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification from the tournament and/or future tournaments. Cellular phones or pagers are not permitted on the course at any time.
PRACTICE ROUNDS: Practice rounds are not included in your entry fee. You may make arrangements for practice rounds up to 14 days in advance, for Monday - Friday tee times, by calling the golf shops and identifying yourself as a tournament participant. KEEP PACE POLICY: Slow Play: Rule 6-7 states: "The player shall play without undue delay and in accordance with pace of play guidelines." A copy of the complete guidelines, including applicable penalties, will be provided at the tournament or in advance by contacting the golf shop.
FORMAT:
36 holes of stroke play: 18 at Dad Miller and 18 at Anaheim Hills.
ELIGIBILITY: All players must have a valid USGA index for a minimum of one year. All players will play to their Low Index as of April 1, 2010.
COST: Entry fee of $185 includes a small bucket of practice balls each day, golf, lunch vouchers, golf cart at Anaheim Hills, one dozen Titleist premium golf balls, trophies and prize awards. LUNCH: Each player will be provided with a $5 voucher for each day, which can be used for breakfast, lunch, a restaurant special or at the bar. Please note that there are separate vouchers for Anaheim Hills and Dad Miller. Food will be available until 6 p.m. at both courses.
SUNDAY SCHEDULE: The schedule of flights for Sunday will be the same as Saturday, except that your position in the flight for Sunday will be determined by the order of your finish on Saturday, with the lowest net scorers teeing off last. We will try to provide approximate times shortly after your flight is completed. Please be at the other course before your flight starts. The penalty for being late is disqualification. Scores will be posted on the Internet as soon as possible each evening at http://www.playanaheimgolf.com.
AWARDS AND PRIZES: Winners in each flight will be awarded a trophy and the City Champion's name will be placed on the perpetual trophy. Prize values will be based on the number of players in each flight. Prizes are paid in merchandise script redeemable at the golf shops at either Anaheim Hills or Dad Miller Golf Courses.
